1. ISRO Internship Scheme

Eligibility:

  • Who can apply:
    Indian citizens pursuing a diploma, undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG), or PhD programs in science or technology from recognized universities/institutions in India or abroad, or who have completed their degree within the last 6 months.
  • Minimum Academic Requirement:
    Minimum 60% aggregate marks or CGPA 6.32/10.
  • Duration:
    Up to 45 days.

2. ISRO Student Project Trainee Scheme

Eligibility Criteria & Duration:

BE/BTech Completion of 6th semester 45 days
ME/MTech Completion of 1st semester 120 days
BSc/Diploma Final-year students only 45 days
MSc Completion of 1st semester 120 days
PhD Completion of coursework 30 months

    Minimum 60% aggregate marks or CGPA 6.32/10.

Other Key Information

  • Selection Process:
    Based on the availability of expertise, ongoing projects, suitability of the student’s background, and resources at the respective ISRO Centre/Unit.
  • Stipend/Financial Support:
    No stipend or financial assistance is provided.
  • Accommodation:
    Accommodation is not provided by default. However, on availability, ISRO Centres/Units may offer guest house/hostel accommodations on a chargeable basis.
  • Certification:
    A certificate of completion is awarded upon successful completion of the project/internship and submission of a satisfactory project report.
  • Facility Access:
    Interns and project trainees will only be allowed in UNCLASSIFIED areas of ISRO facilities.
  • Publications & Reports:
    Clearance from the concerned ISRO Centre/Unit is mandatory before publishing any reports, papers, or articles related to the internship or project work.
